Ubuntu - Tanzania

Ubuntu Tanzania  is a local community team. We represent all the users of the different flavours of Ubuntu in our country.

What we do?

• We act as a point of contact  for the Tanzanian Ubuntu users with the rest of the Ubuntu community,
• We provide help and support for Ubuntu users through our howto's ,mailing list and Online Forum
• We help people get Ubuntu on CD/DVD easily by downloading and sharing with them
• Spread the word  and advocating the use of Ubuntu to individuals and organisations.

This group is for people of all technical background from I've-never-heard-of-linux all the way to I'm-an-Ubuntu-proffi.

Joining the Ubuntu Tanzania LoCo Core team

Although we welcome most of the new comers to join the core team, you will have to earn the trust of the existing core team members, hence there are some requirements that have to be met to join the core team. read more
